Two broken down vehicles have caused traffic headaches for motorists on the M25 this morning.

A lane on the M25 near Orpington was closed and traffic brought to a standstill after a vehicle broke down.

The lane in the clockwise direction of the motorway has recently reopened, but delays are still expected in the area.

It was closed by the vehicle which needed to be removed near junction four.

Meanwhile on the QEII Bridge, a broken down caravan has caused seven miles of queues this morning.

The traffic is backed up on the Essex side of the crossing, on the M25 clockwise, all the way to Romford.
