The owner of a “potty-mouthed Polly” has been left heartbroken after his parrot flew away from home in Orpington for the third time.
Baby the sweary African Grey parrot escaped out of her cage on Tuesday when a child opened the cage door while a window was open.
Her owner Irfan Kuman, 34, said Baby shot off like a “dot in the sky” when she disappeared from sight in Ringshall Road.
He told News Shopper: “I’m absolutely heartbroken.
“I felt lucky enough to get her back the last time, now I’m just thinking what are the chances of me getting her back again?”
Baby last went missing in April this year, but eventually returned when she was spotted near the Orpington area.
Irfan Kuman with his partner Jolanta Ciute.
Marked with a red tail, she is extremely friendly and enjoys talking – and swearing.
“She says hello and she swears quite a lot - she’s a bit of a potty-mouthed Polly,” Mr Kuman added.
He is urging people to keep an eye out for her and get in touch if they spot his beloved parrot.
Talking about Baby’s latest disappearing act, he said: “It’s really painful.
“She’s my soulmate. She’s everything, she doesn’t leave my shoulder.”
