No one would ever suspect granny of being a master jewel thief, but it turned out to be the perfect cover.
SWAG jewellers at intu Bromley was the first stop for the Gangsta Granny, who is in town for her starring role at The Churchill Theatre, and she took off with the Crown Jewels after a tussle with manager Chris Wilson.
In the show based on David Walliams’ best-selling book Ben is sent to his granny’s for the summer holidays and is set for six weeks of total boredom and lots of cabbage soup, cabbage pie and cabbage cake.
That is until he finds out his old Gran is a master thief.
Gangsta Granny is at The Churchill until July 24. Go to churchilltheatre.co.uk
