London's hottest day is predicted to be 31 degrees Celcius this summer, according to statistics.
Apparently July 17 will be the hottest day, and as an added bonus it falls on a Sunday this year.
While this sounds like good news the company carrying out the research found that most British people would actually prefer cooler summers.
In a survey of 1,000 men and women, two-thirds of respondents said they would not prefer hotter summers.
Unfortunately for them weather reports suggest this summer could be the hottest for 100 years.
However the pessimists among us don't believe the weather experts, with 61 per cent of those surveyed saying they think it will be a summer of bad weather.
The research, carried out by outdoor heating company Glowing Embers, is based on 30 years of data from all UK regions.
