The pensioner crashed into Costa in Westerham on December 24
An 86-year-old man has received a court summons for causing death by dangerous driving after a car crashed into a Costa coffee shop and a woman died.
The fatal collision happened on Christmas Eve last year at around 10.30am at the Westerham branch of the coffee chain in the Green.
Valerie Deakin, a 74-year-old from Udimore, in East Sussex, was inside the shop and died at the scene.
The defendant, from Westerham, will appear at Sevenoaks Magistrates Court on Tuesday, July 5.
