Bromley borough has the second highest death toll from pollution of all the London boroughs, according to new figures.
The death toll - the combined total of months of life lost due to PM2.5 - in Bromley was 46, second only to Barnet on 47.
The overall death rate in London from long-term exposure to PM2.5 pollution reached 1000.
The research, carried out by Clean Air in London, is based on Public Health England figures for local mortality rates linked to PM2.5 pollution.
