A man was rushed to a major trauma centre yesterday morning after being hit by a car in Downham.
The pedestrian suffered head injuries in the collision on Downham Way.
Paramedics were called to the scene at around 8.30am on April, 25.
A spokesman for the London Ambulance Service said: "We sent an ambulance crew and an incident response officer.
"We took one man with head injuries as a priority to a major trauma centre."
Police confirmed that no arrests were made and the driver stopped at the scene of the crash.
Downham Way was closed whilst emergency services attended, and bus routes 136 and 181 were diverted.
