Wintry weather is set to return to south-east London and north Kent this weekend.

According to the Met Office, today will be cloudy, with intermittent rain becoming more widespread later. The wind will make it feel cooler than Thursday, with a maximum temperature of 12 °C.

Cloud and rain will continue through the evening, before clearing away overnight. With clear spells developing, it will be a cold end to the night, with a minimum temperature of 2 °C.

On Saturday there will be a good deal of sunshine through the day, but it will still feeling rather chilly. It will remain mostly dry, with a maximum temperature of 13 °C.

On Sunday through to Tuesday it is expected to remain cold and become breezier, with some sunny spells but also a few showers, perhaps wintry at times.

The risk of a few slight frosts will increase.
