A former Belmarsh prison officer who made £20,000 leaking information about notorious inmates has been sentenced to two years behind bars.

Grant Pizzey, 50, from Mottingham, was jailed today at the Old Bailey after being found guilty of misconduct.

His wife Desra Reilly, 53, was convicted of aiding and abetting misconduct in a public office and jailed for 12 months.

Pizzey and Reilly, both of Widecombe Road, denied the offences against them.

Reilly first contacted both The Sun and the Daily Mirror in December 2005 with a story about So Solid Crew rapper Dwayne Vincent, stage name Megaman, being found with a mobile phone after he was attacked in Belmarsh.
