A 48-year-old man has been charged with causing unnecessary suffering to an animal after a dead dog was found allegedly hanging by its neck in Mottingham.
Dexter James was arrested after police were called to Beaconsfield Parade at around 6.50pm on Tuesday (October 6) and found the body of a dead dog.
James, of Beaconsfield Road, will appear in custody at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
The animal had allegedly been tied to railings outside a flat with a rope around its neck.
