Major engineering works this Bank Holiday weekend may cause problems for those hoping to get to and from central London on Southeastern trains.

Charing Cross, Cannon Street and Waterloo East are also closed - whilst Southeastern trains from Shopper patches will not serve London Bridge.

Here's what you need to know, depending on where you're travelling from (all works are tomorrow, Sunday (Aug 30) and Monday):

  • Woolwich line: All London trains to and from Gillingham via Woolwich Arsenal will be to London Victoria.
  • There are trains between New Cross and Dartford via Lewisham & Charlton.
  • Deptford, Greenwich, Maze Hill and Westcombe Park stations are CLOSED.
  • Replacement buses will run between New Cross and Charlton.
  • If travelling between Deptford, Greenwich, Maze Hill, Westcombe Park, Charlton, and Lewisham, passengers can also travel on 108, 386, 180, 47, 199 or 177 buses - for part of the route at no extra cost.
  • There will be no direct train service between Slade Green and stations on the Bexleyheath or Sidcup lines - change at Dartford.

 

  • Bexleyheath line: Trains between London Victoria and Dartford via Bexleyheath will not call at New Cross or St Johns - change at Lewisham.
  • No direct train service between Barnehurst and stations on the Woolwich or Sidcup lines - change at Dartford.

 

  • Sidcup line: Trains will run between London Blackfriars and Gravesend.
  • If travelling to / from New Cross or St Johns - change trains at Lewisham.
  • No direct train service between Crayford and stations on the Bexleyheath or Woolwich Lines - change at Dartford.

 

  • Grove Park line: Trains will run between London Victoria, Denmark Hill and Tonbridge via Lewisham - where you can change for trains to London Blackfriars.
  • Trains will not call at Denmark Hill on Sunday.
  • Fast services are  available between London Victoria & Orpington / Sevenoaks via Bromley South.

 

  • High Speed: Trains will run at Saturday frequency on Monday, via Gravesend and Ashford.
