A 56-year-old Croydon man will stand trial in February after an Orpington grandmother was knocked down and killed last year.
Olive Stevens, of Allard Close, was knocked over by a silver Nissan Micra in Skeet Hill Lane, Chelsfield on November 7.
Paramedics rushed the 88-year-old to King’s College Hospital but she later died from a serious head injury.
Orlando Greenidge, of Erica Gardens, pleaded not guilty at Croydon Crown Court to causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving and causing death by driving a vehicle while unlicensed, disqualified or uninsured.
He has been bailed until his trial at the same court on February 22, next year.
