Petts Wood soul singer and Incognito frontman Tony Momrelle is set to release his long-awaited third solo album and perform at Hyde Park next month.
The 42-year-old singer’s album is called Keep Pushing and features an appearance from rapper Talib Kweli.
It follows the release of the single Pick Me Up/Back Together Again.
He will also perform alongside the likes of Rod Stewart, Bryan Adams and Will Young at Radio 2’s Live in Hyde Park festival on September 13.
Tony released his debut solo album Freetime (1999) and his second, Message in the Music (2009). He has been a member of acid-jazz band Incognito since the mid-2000s.
He has toured with huge stars such as sir Elton John, Whitney Houston, Sade and Chaka Khan.
This year, his touring with both Incognito and solo shows takes him all over the world including Italy, the Netherlands, north and south America.
