Thieves have stolen Australian dollars and jewellery worth more than £50,000 from a house in Orpington.

Police were called after a property in Eton Road was broken into between 4pm and 9pm on Monday (June 29).

Jewellery, watches, an 18 carat gold Dupont lighter worth £10,000 and 30,000 in Australian dollars were taken.

Other stolen items include:

  • Two sapphires from Germany
  • A rare 1907 18 carat pocket watch worth around £20,000
  • An Egyptian 22 carat gold coin Handmade 18 carat gold bangles
  • An 18 carat solid gold tendered Franz Joseph coin from Austria
  • An Oyster Perpetual Air King Rolex worth around £2,500
  • A Burberry men’s watch A Klaus Kolbec men’s watch with diamonds
  • An Emporio Armani women’s watch
