Sydenham's arts festival is back next month for its seventh year.
The Sydenham Arts Summer Festival runs until July 12, including concerts, performances and workshops ranging from writing to photography.
Events begin with a free street celebration on July 4 followed by a free open air screening of The Wizard of Oz in Mayow Park.
Ticketed events include a community production of Mozart's The Magic Flute allowing people to work alongside Secret Opera Theatre Company, a day of Edinburgh Fringe previews, plus the Itchy Toothpicks music night celebrating local unsigned talent.
L&Q Housing Association's Foundation - a charity founded in 2011 to tackle social inequality - has provided a £9,989 grant to the festival allowing free and discounted tickets to be made available.
Sydenham Arts' managing director Helen Goward said: "L&Q's support allows us to make Sydenham a better place by making the arts part of the community."
