THE winners of an inter-schools hockey tournament have a chance to compete with the best teams in London.
Year 6 children from Highfield Junior School, South Hill Road, Shortlands, won the Bromley Schools Hockey Championship Finals.
They successfully beat off competition from five other schools to take the title.
A total of 18 teams from schools across the borough pitted their skills against each other in the qualifying rounds of the competition.
The top six teams met in the final at Ravensbourne School, Hayes Lane, Bromley, on March 26.
The girls and boys from Highfield Junior School then went on to take the top spot.
They will now take on the winning teams from other London boroughs at the Heathrow Games in June.
