Southeastern services will be disrupted again across the May bank holiday due to engineering works.

Charing Cross, Cannon Street, Waterloo East and London Bridge high level platforms one to three will be closed at various points over the weekend with no Southeastern services from these four London stations, and diversions into Victoria and Blackfriars or trains terminating at New Cross.

And, due to work on tracks, buses will replace services from Lewisham to Charlton via Greenwich from Saturday May 2 to Monday May 4.

The Monday will also see a replacement bus service instead of trains between Plumstead and Dartford.

Other services from Lewisham, Kent House and Beckenham will also be affected due to track maintenance.

David Statham, managing director of Southeastern, said: "Network Rail is undertaking significant improvement work across our network during the bank holiday weekend, which will affect our passengers travelling across Kent and into London. We encourage people to check before they travel and leave more time for their journey if necessary."
