CHILDMINDERS have enjoyed a dance to celebrate their success.
Staff from across the borough had a barn dance and presentation ceremony after their work was recognised by the National Childminding Association.
This recognition means parents know the person looking after their child is a good carer.
The childminders were awarded the quality assurance mark by the association for being part of four networks run by Bromley Council's Early Years and Childcare Service and Bromley Mencap.
People in the networks are inspected four times a year, compared with non-network childminders who are inspected once every three years.
Portfolio holder for children and young people Councillor Ernest Noad said: "These networks are a positive factor in ensuring the provision of high-quality childcare in Bromley."
