Man, 62, collapses and dies at side of train tracks between Hayes and West Wickham
A 62-year-old man died after he was found collapsed next to the train tracks between Hayes and West Wickham stations on Saturday.
Police and London Ambulance Service were called at around 12.15am when the man was spotted collapsed at the side of railway.
Officers attempted to revive him with CPR but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
He is believed to have fallen from a height.
LAS sent a single responder by car, a medical team from London’s Air Ambulance by car, two ambulances and a duty officer.
Police say his death is not being treated as suspicious at this stage.
