MP Jo Johnson was given the tour of the restaurant and kitchens, owned by franchisee Bill Perera.
He also donned a McDonald's apron to make their signature burger - the Big Mac.
The MP said: "I was delighted to visit McDonald’s franchisee, Mr Perera and his staff, for a guided tour around his Orpington branch.
"McDonald’s makes a huge and positive contribution to the local community and I was even fortunate enough to try my hand at making one of McDonald’s iconic burgers, the Big Mac."
