Youngsters from a Bickley school took a step back in time dressing up as the most famous faces in history.
Children aged five to seven at St George's School, in Tylney Road, hit the fancy dress as part of a new school topic.
MORE TOP STORIES Last Tuesday (February 24) saw Cleopatra, Marie Curie, Winston Churchill and numerous kings among some of the costumes on display.
Amy Davies, head of key stage one, said: "We wanted to capture the children's imagination - they absolutely loved it!
"Over the half term they did a mini project finding out facts about someone. They thought it was brilliant and they were really excited to show us."
Children took turns role-playing as their characters asking each other questions.
Ms Davies added: "A couple teachers dressed up too! Karen Hewitt [teacher] dressed up as Emmeline Pankhurst, they pretended to be a person from the past getting the children to ask them questions."
This is the first time the school has organised this event, and Ms Davies said it could definitely return in the future.
