A raid on a supermarket in Penge saw more than 1,000 litres of illegal alcohol and tobacco seized.
An operation by Bromley Trading Standards and HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) saw 1,510 litres of wine, 77 litres of spirits and 2.5 kilos of shisha tobacco confiscated.
MORE TOP STORIES Officers visited the supermarket last Wednesday (February 18) and found the spirits hidden behind a counter in the shop.
These included bottles of vodka, whiskey, gin and Raki - a Turkish spirit.
A further search revealed the wine stashed in an upstairs storeroom.
The shop name cannot be revealed at this stage.
The estimated loss of revenue from the haul is around £4,360.
Jennie Kendall spokesperson for HMRC, said: "This illegal trade has a devastating impact on legitimate retailers, who have to compete with black market traders.
"It’s robbing the UK economy of vital funding and those selling these goods do not promote they are buying them from criminals - the profits of which are funding organised crime to the detriment of all our communities."
No arrests have been made and investigations continue.
HMRC is encouraging people with any information on illegally imported goods, tax evasion or fraud to contact the customs hotline on 0800 59 5000.
