Bromley police have busted a huge cannabis factory worth £250,000 at a farmhouse in Chelsfield.
Officers discovered 600 fully grown cannabis plants in an outbuilding at the secluded farmhouse after executing a drugs warrant at 7.30am yesterday.
A 26-year-old woman who arrived at the property as officers searched it was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis.
A 23-year-old man was later arrested at an Orpington address also on suspicion of cultivating cannabis.
They remain in custody at a south London police station.
Sergeant Paul Law said: “This is a great result following concerns raised by the community.
“We will continue to act on information given to us by local residents and tackle the causes of crime on our borough.”
Anyone with information about drugs and crime is asked to call Bromley police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
