A young man from Bromley was named the Met's Junior Cadet of year.
It was a double win for Felice Abate-Dunn, 11, who also won the Junior Cadet of year award for his hometown Bromley.
In the first ever annual awards ceremony held on January 20, Felice was presented with his awards by Bromley Police's deputy borough commander Superintendent Parm Sandhu.
She said: "Felice is a worthy recipient of this award for his enthusiasm and determination to succeed.
"Felice has embraced this opportunity and has thrown himself 100 per cent into cadet life and his performance and attitude have been outstanding. "He is a credit to the cadet unit".
A number of top ranking officers and VIPs attended the glittering ceremony held at the Theatre of London Oratory School.
