A collision outside Crofton Junior School forced police to close off Towncourt Lane in Petts Wood.
The crash which happened at around 10.30am this morning, saw one driver “quite hurt” according to witnesses.
Local resident Scott Coombes, 16, said: “I heard a bang, quite a loud bang and I looked outside and I saw two cars literally outside the front drive.
“They were talking to each other to begin with, I think they were both female.
“The person who got hit was quite hurt and started saying their knees and back hurt.
“About 15-20 minutes later the police came up. They sectioned it [the road] off a little bit.
“The front car was a smart car; I don’t know what the one that hit it was. It was right into the back of the other car.”
People took to twitter to try and establish why police had closed the section of road, sandwiched between Crofton Infants and Crofton Juniors.
