Bromley commuters were given a surprise this morning as a steam train rolled past.
The authentic locomotive, reminiscent of a bygone era, passed by Bromley South station.
Spewing steam, it was spotted around 9.30am this morning.
@Mick0las now I know why I saw a thick plume of smoke by my house earlier this morning. Beautiful. I caught up with it at Bromley South.

This is why I've been delayed and riding through steam. A proper steam train at Bromley South earlier. #southeastern pic.twitter.com/sWFTpSqx3J

People took to twitter to voice their opinions on the unusual sight.
@Mick0las @Se_Railway blimey, how many years delayed is that train? #southeastern 😉

However, Southeastern confirmed it was not one of their trains.
It was reportedly a service by West Coast Railway, on its way from Newington to Bristol.
