A Bromley parrot, lost for over two weeks, was reunited with its owners on Friday (September 26), but sadly passed away over the weekend.
Enrico and Aya Manca were sick with worry when beloved Chloe disappeared from their Bromley Common home on September 10, and appealed to the public for help finding her.
On Friday, at around lunch time, they heard Chloe had been found in Croydon.
However she was very weak and, after she was reunited with her family, was taken to a vet.
She was found to have a life-threatening infection and died not long after.
Mr Manca, 39, expressed gratitude to everyone who helped search for Chloe, and added: "Fly happy with the angels, one day we will be again all together.
"Ciao amore mio."
