Sundridge Park Golf Club presented the Majorie McClure specialist school in Chislehurst with a brand new minibus on Monday.

Sundridge Park captain Tony Negal has spent a year fundraising to buy the Sunshine Coach, which is fully-equipped for children with special needs.

His chosen charity, the Variety Club Golfing Society, raises thousands of pounds to buy buses for schools and care centres that care for disabled children.

The club’s oldest female member, 102-year-old Dolly Hill, handed over the coach keys at the start of the club’s Celebrity-AM event.

Following the presentation, 120 celebrities and club members enjoyed a round on the championship East Course. Bromley and Chislehurst MP Bob Neill, Bromley mayor Councillor Julian Benington and Robert Sargent, CEO at Langford Russell, attended.

Mr Negal gave special thanks to Langford Russell for its donations, saying: “My heartfelt thanks go to Sundridge Park golf club members for their fantastic help and support in fundraising this year, it has been truly humbling. Special note must go to Langford Russell for the special support they have given.”
