A SAFER neighbourhood consultation event attracted more than 200 people.
Hosted by Bromley police, the event took place at The Metropolitan Police Sports Club in Croydon Road, Hayes.
Sponsored by the Safer Bromley Partnership, it discussed the delivery of the next stage of safer neighbourhood policing.
Under the new policy due to be implemented by next April, three additional PCSOs will be posted to wards of more than 1,400 residents, in addition to the existing teams of one Sergeant, two PCs and three PCSOs.
All 22 of Bromley's Safer Neighbourhood Panel chairmen and sergeants attended the event, along with residents sitting on ward panels and council representatives.
Chief Inspector Marshall Kent, who is in charge of the borough's safer neighbourhood teams, said: "Bromley has taken the process of community engagement and prioritising local issues to the next level."
