A TRAIN driver who leads a double life as a soldier has helped launch a television advertising campaign to get more people to join the Territorial Army (TA).
Peter Farnham, from Bromley, was one of the chosen reservists to be a part of TA Live and speak to people about his role in the 106 Regiment Royal Artillery, which is based at the Grove Park TA centre.
As well as 27-year-old Mr Farnham and other TA members appearing at Westfield shopping centre in Stratford, the campaign includes advertisements aired live from military operations in Afghanistan.
Lance Bombardier Farnham said: “I joined the TA to do something different from my full time job, I joined 3 years ago and can say that it has been incredibly rewarding and exciting, being part of the TA has equipped me with new skills and I have met some great mates.”
