CRYSTAL Palace players were joined by cheerleader group The Crystals at the reopening of McDonald's in Bromley High Street yesterday.

Alex Marrow, Darcy Blake and The Crystals were at the restaurant from 2.30pm, signing autographs and meeting fans.

The McDonald's has undergone a transformation, and now boasts a new modern design both inside and out.

Bromley McDonald's franchisee, Tonina Hoang said: "It was overwhelming to see how many people came to the restaurant to celebrate the reopening.

"The support from Crystal Palace, the players and the Crystals made the event incredibly special."

The reopening came with the announcement that Palace will team up with Ms Hoang to work on local community football.

Ms Hoang added: "Through the partnership that Crystal Palace and I am now able to announce, we will be working together to provide training for local coaches and sponsorship of the Crystal Palace Foundation."

MP for Bromley and Chislehurst Bob Neill said: "A large amount of resource, time and effort has gone into renovating this restaurant and creating an environment where people can go to eat, relax and catch up with friends or colleagues.

"We are very lucky to have a business making this sort of investment in Bromley and working hard to forge links with local community and sporting groups."
