NEWS Shopper and Petts Wood Pharmacy have launched a new Carers Award, which will recognise unpaid carers in the borough of Bromley.
The public can nominate whoever it thinks is most deserving of a £1,000 prize.
The person must be unpaid, and give help and support to someone who, due to disability, illness or frailness, is unable to manage living in their own home without help.
They can be any age, and can live with or apart from the person they care for.
To nominate a carer fill in all the details on the entry form at newsshopper.co.uk/news/health/careroftheyear or email pwreception@london.newsquest.co.uk.
Entries must be in by March 22 2013.
A judging panel will pick the winner, with the prize being presented at an awards ceremony in Petts Wood.
