TEENAGERS turned learning into doing when they staged an occasion as part of their GCSE course.
The Design for Life night was run by the Year 11 hospitality and catering pupils from The Priory School, Tintagel Road, Orpington, for parents and invited guests.
They were given a budget to organise, plan and host the event from booking the venue, to purchasing flowers to decorate the hall and to creating nibbles to serve during the evening.
And speakers from different vocational backgrounds gave talks about their experiences including Priory Trust governor Richard Dungan who spoke about engineering and the school’s catering manager Kevin French.
