A HOARD of young Bickley Vikings were enthralled when a warrior came to tell them about life in days of old.
Dressed in Viking costumes the girls at Bromley High Junior School listened to Thorulf’s stories about what Vikings ate and how they traded and lived.
They ended the day at the school in Blackbrook Lane, Bickley, with a battle against a group of Anglo Saxons.
Seven-year-old Isabella Fisher said: “I really enjoyed Viking day. “My favourite part was doing the Viking quiz.
“We had to find the right answers on the fact boards.
“I also liked listening to all the things about the Vikings fighting the Saxons.
“I loved the fighting that we did against the other class.
“It was a draw.”
