A FITNESS company in West Wickham is helping to support a school for children with autism and learning difficulties.

People will be sponsored to lose weight and West Wickham Health and Fitness, based in Corkscrew Hill, is rewarding participants who go the extra mile with prizes donated by local businesses.

Organisers hope the No Limits to Transformation campaign will inspire people to get healthy whilst raising money for the Priory Special School, in Upper Norwood, Croydon.

Priory Special School head teacher Jill Thomas said: “The fundraiser will finance activities that will provide our students with a wider range of sporting opportunities.

“This will really help them fulfill their true potential through experiences that are both fun and challenging”.

West Wickham Health and Fitness coach Chris Tuck said: “To win a makeover, raise money for a good cause, increase confidence and self esteem and finally learn how to drop their inches forever, people just need to get their friends, family and colleagues to sponsor them for every pound or inch they will lose next January.”

The campaign launch will be held at Beccehamian Rugby Football Club, Sparrows Den, in West Wickham on January 4, 2013 from 7pm to 9pm and costs £10.
