AN OPEN meeting about the future of Crystal Palace Overground Festival (CPOF) is taking place next week.

The festival committee is inviting everyone to attend next Wednesday (December 12) and get involved in organising next year’s event and going forward.

Highlights in years gone by have included performing arts, crafts, gigs and DJs and CPOF chairwoman Noreen Mehan wants it to get even bigger and better.

She said: “The festival continues to go from strength to strength and provides a much needed boost to the diverse independent businesses, the fantastic creative people, musicians and artists of the area.

“We are very excited about the future of the festival and want to invite our local community to come along and decide the aims, objectives and priorities for the festival going forward.”

The meeting takes place at Salvation Army Community Hall, Westow Street, Crystal Palace, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm on December 12.
