Southeastern announces revised train timetable over Christmas
1:53pm Tuesday 4th December 2012 in Bromley By Alan Woods
SOUTHEASTERN will operate a revised train timetable over the festive period beginning on this Sunday (December 9).
The altered timetable includes changes the operator says will help increase capacity, provide additional services and improve journey and connection times.
Then, from December 22 until January 1, trains will run to the weekend timetable with some additional peak hour services.
On Christmas Day and Boxing Day, there will be no trains apart for a special half-hourly high speed shuttle between Ashford International and St Pancras International running on Boxing Day.
Services will stop running earlier than usual on Christmas Eve too.
Customer relations manager Alison Nolan said: “The new timetable comes into effect on Sunday, so regular passengers who may be used to catching a particular service should check to see if there are any changes.”

After all, the union members always enjoy that extended festive break at home in front of the telly.
