First Capital Connect and Southeastern rail delays through London due to broken down train at Blackfriars

COMMUTERS throughout London and the south east are facing delays of almost two hours after a train broke down at Blackfriars station.
The lines have reopened but trains are still experiencing delays with services towards London Bridge and Elephant and Castle most affected.
First Capital Connect journeys between Luton and Orpington could be delayed for 100 minutes with Southeastern services between Kentish Town and Sevenoaks delayed for up to 45 minutes.
London Underground are accepting tickets for reasonable routes.
First Capital Connect trains are expected to return to full service by 5pm and Southeastern services are due to return to full service by noon.

Let's hope they have a good Christmas to prepare them for the fare increases in January.
