A BROMLEY choir is holding a Christmas concert to recruit new members.

Beckenham and West Wickham based group Vocal Vitality are holding a festive open evening on December 6 at St John’s Church Hall, in Eden Park Avenue.

This is an opportunity for potential members of V Academy - group singing lessons for children and young people - and the Vocal Vitality Women's Choir, to come and find out more about joining in the New Year.

The free Christmas Party and sing-a-long will take place from 5pm to 6pm for 7-11 year olds and between 6pm and 7pm for 12-18 year olds.

The Women's Choir Singalong and Social Evening will follow at 7.45pm which people can join for mince pies, refreshments and wine, and a practice with the ladies themselves.

Group founder Susan Garrett said: "We are a very friendly bunch and I would encourage anyone who loves singing whatever their ability, to come and join for a fun informal night of singing."

The first singing class with the group is free and then £6.50 per week for kids and £5 per week for adults.
