Bromley and Beckenham Hockey Club women get naked for fundraising calendar

COURAGEOUS hockey players have ditched their kit and bared all for the sake of Bromley and Beckenham Hockey Club.

With just their sticks and other gear to spare their blushes, the women from BromBeck stripped off for a photographer.

And the 12 resulting pictures have now been made into a 2013 calendar which is being sold to raise money for the club, which has its clubhouse at Beckenham Cricket Club, Foxgrove Road, Beckenham.

The club’s vice chairwoman Emma Greenway said: "A girl called Tara Woodward came up with the idea about three years ago and only this year did she get enough volunteers to do it.

"I think people thought ‘why not?’ and it was a good laugh.

"We managed to get a photographer who plays hockey at the club and everyone feels comfortable around.

"I think it looks pretty professionally done and sales have been going pretty well so far."

How to get your calendar

The calendar costs £10, with £1 going to Breast Cancer Care.

This charity has been chosen because quite a few of the club’s members have been affected by the disease.

Anyone who wants to reserve a calendar should email Brombeckcalendar@hotmail.com

You will then receive an email with details of the bank account to transfer your £10.00.

Anyone who wants their calendar posted to them will be charged an additional £3.50 to cover postage and packaging.
