Langley Park School for Girls fireworks show hopes to beat 2011 fundraising record

FIREWORKS display organisers hope this year’s show in Beckenham smashes the fundraising record of £8,200 set last year.

This will be the 18th display at Langley Park School for Girls with all proceeds from the event going to St Christopher’s Hospice, other charities and community projects, and the school.

It is jointly organised by the school’s parent and staff association and the Rotary Club of West Wickham.

The display is at the school in Hawksbrook Lane, Beckenham, on November 10, gates open at 6pm and the display starts at 7pm.

Tickets are £6 adults, £3.50 children and under 5s go free.

Family tickets of £14 for two adults and two children available only in advance from participating local schools and Matthews Jewellers in West Wickham.
