Olympics not singing the right tune

Our society is becoming more and more obsessed with appearance and this is demonstrated perfectly in the story about Lin Miaoke miming to a song by Yang Peiyi at the Olympics because seven year old Yang was not deemed pretty enough.

Day 9 - August 7 - Sad News

Today my attention was drawn to the story of a mature student who choked to death when he tried to swallow five fairy cakes in an impromptu competition at a bar! The 34-year-old went into cardiac arrest and died.
