Firefighters tackle flat fire in Abbey Wood
TEN firefighters tackled a blaze at a block of flats in Abbey Wood this morning (June 29).
London Fire Brigade was called at 8.45am to a first floor in Eynsham Drive.
Part of a five room flat was damaged by the fire.
Crews from Plumstead fire station and two fire engines were at the scene until 9.31am.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
