ELDERLY and disabled people are being offered help during the switch to digital TV.
A Switchover Help Scheme bus will be in Bexleyheath town centre providing advice from 10am to 4pm next Wednesday(February 29).
People eligible for the scheme include those who are over 75, have lived in a care home for six months, are registered blind or partially sighted or receive Disability Living Allowance.
The scheme offers easy to use equipment to convert one set, an approved installer to supply and install the necessary equipment and a 12 month aftercare service.
Regional manager for the scheme, Samantha Latouche, said "We are urging people to drop in and speak to our team face-to-face, where they can also try out digital equipment first hand, receive help filling out a Switchover Help Scheme application form and ask the team any questions."
