A PRINCESS, boxing champion and chef attended a primary school during Hero Day.
Pupils and staff at St Fidelis School, in Bexley Road, Erith, dressed up as people who have inspired them.
Each class spent the day learning about a different hero including Princes Diana, Jamie Oliver, Muhammad Ali and Neil Armstrong.
Youngsters painted a portrait of their hero, wrote a newspaper report about them and some got to make a short film while others cooked space biscuits.
The best dressed infant, junior and teacher were handed a trophy during a special awards ceremony at the end of the day.
History co-ordinator, Thea Whalley, said: "It was a wonderful day with lots of fantastic learning about people from the past and present who have inspired us."
