POLICE have seized more than £120,000 worth of drugs in Bexley as part of a major crackdown on gang crime.
It follows a series of coordinated operations across London spearheaded by the Met police on February 8.
Officers seized a kilo of heroin, over 40 one ounce bags of crack cocaine, two pillow sized bags of cannabis and £40,000 in cash.
Four people were arrested.
In a second wave on the same day, nine kilos of amphetamine sulphate were recovered and two people were arrested.
Acting detective chief inspector Steve Underwood said: "This was excellent work undertaken by our officers and is a clear demonstration of our commitment to removing drugs from the streets of Bexley and taking on those involved in gang related activity."
All six people arrested remain in custody at a South London Police Station.
