SEVEN people have been charged in relation to a fraud investigation conducted by Lewisham safer neighbourhood officers.
They were all charged on January 25 after being arrested on June 22.
Officers were alerted after a number of victims in Lewisham said they had no knowledge a credit card account had been set up in their name.
At the addresses visited, police recovered credit cards, cash, mail believed to be stolen, mobile phones, passports, electronic equipment and computers.
The scale of the fraud is estimated to be between £100,000 and £500,000.
Nigel Amakiri Jama, aged 43, of Felixstowe Road, Abbey Wood was charged with one count of conspiracy to steal, two counts of conspiracy to defraud, three counts of theft, one count of possession of articles for use in fraud and one count of possession of identity documents relating to another.
Harnault Hospice Kassi, aged 37, of Minard Road, Catford was charged with two counts of conspiracy to steal, two counts of conspiracy to defraud, three counts of theft, two counts of possession of articles for use in fraud, one count of possession of false identity documents and three counts of possession of identity documents relating to another.
A 45-year-old woman, Elizabeth Olusola Solary, of Waterhead Close, Erith was charged with conspiracy to steal, theft, fraud, possession of articles for use in fraud and possession of false identity documents.
Funke Moshebolatan Okhira, aged 46, of Haredon Close, Forest Hill, was charged with conspiracy to steal and false accounting.
Also from Forest Hill, Sunny Paul Okhira, 42, of Haredon Close, was charged with conspiracy to steal and two counts of theft.
Monique Mandeng, aged 33, of Minard Road, Catford, was charged with conspiracy to steal, two counts of conspiracy to defraud, two counts of possession of articles for use in fraud and three counts of possession of identity documents relating to another.
All six suspects are due to appear at Kingston Crown Court on April 11.
A seventh suspect, 43-year-old Akintunji Alaba Akinro, of Woodford Green, Essex was charged with entering into or becoming concerned in an arrangement and will appear at the same court on March 1.
