THREE events in the area will mark a national fun day on August 4.

The venues for each one have been chosen for National Play Day because they have received a total of £550,000 in lottery funding.

Danson Youth Centre, Bexleyheath will be holding fun sports events including football, tennis, cricket, trampolining, karate, boxing, as well as the skatepark BMX and skateboarding.

There will also be inflatables, an assault course, planetarium and donkey rides. It starts at 1.30pm and goes on until 3pm.

At Sidcup’s Royal Park, Sidcup from 1.30 until 3pm and Falconwood playground at The Green from 11.30am to 3pm there will also be free games and fun.
