FEMALE walkers will be heading out as darkness falls to raise money for a hospice charity.

Ellenor Lions Hospice’s sponsored twilight walk takes place on September 17 at Danson Park in Bexleyheath.

For women only, people can come in fancy dress, their pyjamas or anything else that makes them stand out from the crowd.

Each lap is 1.2 miles long and people can walk as many as they wish.

Registration will take place from 6.45pm, it will start at 7.30pm and will finish by 10.45pm.

Cash raised by taking part in the walk will go towards helping the hospice to continue caring and supporting children and young people with life threatening illnesses.
