BEXLEY: Danson Festival will be alive with the sound of music

THERE will be music to suit all tastes at this year’s Danson Festival.

The main stage at the festival, being held on July 3 and 4 in Danson Park, Welling, will play host to a variety of bands and individual singers, from a return performance by international stars Jocelyn Brown and The Allstars Collective, to upcoming singer/songwriter Aaron Slater, who is about to release his first album.

Motown Gold will be performing classic Motown tracks, while The Cedars straddle the divide between the dancehalls of the 1920s and 30s and the up-to-date music scene.

Pacifico Blues are a contemporary London blues band and Deportivo are another up-and-coming London band.

Also appearing are the winners of Unified Band’s Sound Quest and this year’s BeXfactor finalists.

And there is more music on the Community Stage.
